What is chronic hepatitis B?
Chronic hepatitis B virus is caused as a result of infection hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis B patients and hepatitis B virus carriers are the main source of infection, hepatitis B virus can be transmitted through maternal and infant, blood and blood products, damaged skin mucous membrane and sexual contact. After infection with hepatitis B virus, due to the influence of viral factors, host factors, environmental factors, there will be different outcomes and clinical types
The clinical manifestations of chronic hepatitis B are fatigue, fear of food, nausea, abdominal distension, liver pain and other symptoms. The liver is large and moderately hard with mild tenderness.

Routes of transmission
1, Familial transmission
The main reason for the high incidence of hepatitis B is familial transmission, which is mainly vertical transmission from mother to child. If the mother is positive for hepatitis B E antigen, her children have not been injected with hepatitis B vaccine, and most of them become carriers of hepatitis B virus.
2, Blood transmission
A very small amount of blood or body fluids contaminated with hepatitis B virus can cause Hepatitis B virus infection. Medical procedures such as surgery, hemodialysis, organ transplantation, sharing of razors or toothbrushes, pedicures, tattooing, and piercing of ear-rings may lead to transmission of hepatitis B virus from damaged skin or mucous membranes.
3, Sexual contact transmission
Hepatitis B virus can be detected in semen, so it can be transmitted sexually. Below the condition that did not take contraception, if both sides of husband and wife have one party to have hepatitis B, especially the DNA quantity of hepatitis B virus is higher, the possibility that infuses to the other side is larger still.
4, Other transmission channels
In addition, saliva, sweat, semen, vaginal secretions and breast milk contain Hepatitis B virus, so can also spread Hepatitis B virus. Nevertheless, daily performance like hugs and shaking hands will not transmit Hepatitis B virus.
About Hepatitis B virus detection
HBsAg is the coat protein of hepatitis B virus. By the detection of HBsAg, we can know whether someone is infected with Hepatitis B virus or not.
Singclean HBsAg Test kit (Colloidal Gold) is used for the in vitro qualitative detection of hepatitis B virus surface antigen (HBsAg) in human serum and plasma samples.
Singclean HBsAg Test kit (Colloidal Gold) uses colloidal gold immunochromatographic technology. The reagent is coated with HBsAg monoclonal antibody (test line T) and goat anti-mouse polyclonal antibody (control line C) on nitrocellulose membrane.
