How to use Singclean®:

a.Cataract extraction surgery, IOL implantation: 0.2~0.75ml into anterior chamber, 0.1ml on the IOL spreading. 

b.Cataract surgery: 0.1~0.5ml injection into anterior chamber. 

c.IOL implantation: before implantation 0.1~0.5 injection into anterior chamber, 0.1ml on the IOL spreading. 

d.Corneal transplant surgery: after removal of corneal, 0.1~0.5ml injection into anterior chamber, after transplant of corneal spreading around 0.1ml. 

Main ingredient

The main component of this product is sodium hyaluronate (originally extracted from the umbilical cord, which is then extracted from the cockscomb, which is now prepared by fermentation). The auxiliary material contains sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate.

（1）Microbial fermentation

It was prepared by fermentation of mutants of Streptococcus zooepidemics. The mutant has no hemolytic activity and produces a large amount of sodium hyaluronate, and the molecular weight of the product can reach 2.5 million. 

（2）Extract from animal tissue

  In animals, sodium hyaluronate exists as a matrix, and is linked to the core protein in the form of a covalent bond to form a proteoglycan, which is coated with protein and fat. To obtain medical hyaluronate, the protein contained in the animal must be contained. It is obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis and removal of all other impurities. The pure product has an amino acid content of only 0.35% and a molecular weight of up to 1.2 million.

Important Safety Information

Never overfill the eye chambers with Singclean ® (except in glaucoma surgery)

In posterior segment procedures in the aphakic diabetic patients, special care should be exercised to avoid using large amounts of Singclean ®

Remove all remain Singclean ® by irrigation and /or aspiration at the close of surgery (except in glaucoma surgery)

Carefully monitor the intraocular pressure especially during the immediate postoperative period. If significant rises are observed, treat with appropriate therapy.

Avoid trapping air bubble.
