SINGCLEAN® ANTI ADHESION GEL
is a sterile, colorless transparent and highly viscous gel that forms a barrier to prevent or
reduce post-surgical adhesions in the abdomino-pelvic area. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a main
component of the connective tissue in the human body.
ADHESIONS are the most frequent postoperative complication of open and laparoscopic surgery.
Most women develop adhesions after major gynecological surgery and some will develop clinical
consequences such as bowel obstruction, infertility, chronic pelvic pain, and intraoperative complications.
INTRAUTERINE ADHESIONS are bands of scar tissue that form between the inner walls of the
uterus, resulting from trauma to the uterus. Any surgical intervention of the uterine cavity can
potentially create adhesions.
Adhesions can occur even when surgeons use the best techniques, but using mechanical barriers to separate traumatized tissues during the healing period can reduce postoperative adhesions.
