Intraocular Injection

The main component of this product is sodium hyaluronate, which was initially extracted from the umbilical cord, later from cockscombs, and is now prepared through fermentation. The auxiliary materials include sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, and potassium dihydrogen phosphate.

It is prepared by fermenting mutants of Streptococcus zooepidemicus. These mutants lack hemolytic activity and produce large amounts of sodium hyaluronate, with the product's molecular weight reaching up to 2.5 million.
