Malaria is a global parasitic infectious disease that infects humans and other animals. Its pathogenic parasite, Plasmodium, is spread by mosquitoes. Malaria is endemic in most tropical areas and continues to spread in 85 countries and regions. The most common early symptoms of malaria are fever, headache, and chills. Symptoms usually begin within 10-15 days after being bitten by an infected mosquito. Symptoms may be mild in some people, especially those who have been infected with malaria before. Because some malaria symptoms are nonspecific, it's important to get tested as early as possible. Some types of malaria can cause severe illness and death. Infants, children under 5 years old, pregnant women, travelers and people with HIV or AIDS are at higher risk. Prompt detection of malaria is critical to administering appropriate treatment to reduce associated morbidity and mortality.

Test Procedure
Allow the test, specimen, buffer and/or controls to reach room temperature (15-30°C) prior to testing.
1.Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test Device from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.
2.Place the Device on a clean and level surface.
●Use a pipette: To transfer 5μL of whole blood to the specimen well (S), then add 3 drops of buffer to the buffer well (B) and start the time.
●Use a disposal specimen dropper: Hold the dropper vertically; draw the specimen up to the upper end of the nozzle as shown in illustration below (approximately 5μL). Transfer the specimen to the specimen well (S), then add 3 drops of buffer to the buffer well (B) and start the timer.
3.Wait for the colored line(s) to appear. Read results at 10 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes.
